About the Role
Job Summary:
Cinq Tech, a workforce development company, seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLS Certified Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys and providing accurate and reliable information related to land surveying and mapping projects in the state of Kentucky.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of land surveying principals and techniques, as well as experience in using surveying equipment and software.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct land surveys and prepare accurate survey reports, maps, and other related documents in compliance with Kentucky state laws and regulations
Use surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors to collect data
Analyze survey data using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
Identify boundary lines, property corners, and other land features
Prepare legal descriptions of survey findings for use in deeds, leases, and other legal documents
Communicate survey results to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey projects
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to land surveying in Kentucky
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification in the state of Kentucky
At least 5 years of experience in land surveying principals, techniques, and equipment
Proficient in the use of surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Physical Demands:
The job of a PLS Certified Land Surveyor requires physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods of time. The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of surveying equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,145.81 - $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)
Surveyor License (Required)
